I will start us off, it's damp and cloudy in Birmingham, but the birds are singing.
Off to London in a bit. Will catch some zzzzz on the coach. Done the trip so often I only look out the window around Oxfordshire in case I can spot some red kites. Best bit of the trip

Feeling so much brighter on these steroids, jaw pain well on the way out, as is the hip and shoulder pain. I can now chew, but still can't open the jaw fully. Still, it's only a week.
GP call tomorrow to discuss on going care (more steroids?)
It's been a lovely bright day here in East Yorkshire, still cool out there, so I'll just admire it from my craft room.
Good to know you're safely back home Helen, I think I would hate to spend any time in the big metropolis.

Red, that's an interesting idea...but again, there's Toby to consider.
Even fostering cats requires having no other pets.
I had some neighbours who had the most wonderful and friendly collie called Boots A handful as a pup, but she eventually settled. Unfortunately they've moved...when I first lost Sally it was suggested I walk Boots occasionally, which I did for a bit when needed.
I admit that after my bad experience after Sally, I'm far more wary of dogs.
