i purchased a bag i had seen for sale on ebay,but not thru ebay,as it was no longer on sale,i contacted the seller and sent a cheque to buy it privately..stupid yes i know....cheques been cashed but no bag sent and no reply from correspondence...any legal path or advice....thanks.

I did a similar thing at xmas last year stevie.I bought something on E-bay for my son,they cashed my cheque but the goods never arrived.I looked online and E-bay had removed them as a seller but no matter how many times I contacted E'bay they never ever replied to me.Right pain isn't it.

Take them to the small claims court maybe? www.www.moneyclaim.gov.uk
