Just out of interest, what is the maximum run anyone has achieved? According to my statistics I have played 395 times, with 95% wins but cannot get past 40 continuously. Is this good, bad or indifferent? Trivial I know, but just wondered!!

Sounds brilliant to me. I find choosing the first word is a problem. I usually manage to complete it but usually only just !

My longest streak is 331, broken this week because I forgot to play one day.

I managed to get a run of 62. Then i completely forgot to do it one Saturday morning and, of course, when i completed Sunday's, a new run had begun.
As an aside, do you do Wordl, Quordle and Sedecordle?

Typed mine while you were posting, Barry. I usually have a routine in which i do the puzzles while having breakfast. On the day in question, Burnley's match was a lunch-time kick off so i was studying the geegees and football in order to get my bets on before kick off.
Wouldn't have minded so much losing the run if i had won a few quid, but i didn't:-(

I've played 122, 97% win,13 Current streak,21 max streak, but I've no idea what any of that means.
Does it matter if you don't play it one day for whatever reason Barry?

Thank you for everyone for taking the time to reply. I have decided I come in the "poor" category. Not heard of or tried quordle, will find it later.
FOA: Rosie 29 - I always start with adieu as it has four out of five vowels. If none come up I then choose a word with double o.

I start with canoe, if nothing useful appears I follow with fruit, that normally serves me well. Usually get in three of four

I've had a few runs in the thirties and forties in my 331 attempts and am currently on fifty-five.

I have forgotten to attempt it a few times so since the last time that happened, I have had a daily reminder alarm on my 'phone.
