Would you use a self-driving car ?

I wonder whether Abers would reflect that.

Safety is clearly of prime importance. I doubt I'd be an early adopter but once convinced it would be fine.

Me for one, Jim. You can't be completely certain that it is safe. There are always unforseen happenings on the roads. Humans can react to these, programmes can't.

That's a good point Jourdain, do these cars just plough on through pheasants, deer and badgers for example?

Humans will not react if they are not paying attention to what is happening around them.

If it meant a non driver could have a car to get around yes but I think the plan is they will only be available to qualified drivers who could override the automated system in an emergency. So not a lot of point really.

Garages cant find what sensors have gone wrong with the cars we already drive. Self drive with even more sensors? No thanks.
