Did anyone manage to crack the Treasure hunt Anagram, or crack the Festive Code in the Compers News ?
I thought that they were really difficult , I tied myself up in knots and didn't seem to be getting anywhere. I gave up in the end.
Seeing as no one has come up with anything, I'm going to give you my offer. It doesn't mean it's right, but as it can be a word or phrase, 13 letters in total, My offer is Carrier Pigeon. I tried to do a search re. xmas and found this. https://www.spokesman.com/stories/2010/dec/16/wish-lists-take-wing/
Assuming PUJUYHCJUN is obtained by simple substitution I have tried each letter of the alphabet for U in my Crossword Solver. The only possibilities found, that also fit with the repeated J, are:
METEORITES
PARAMETRAL
VENETIANED
But I can't see any connection with gift cards
Late last night, I got Stationate which isn't a word, but wondered if it was an anagram (I know it sounds stupid) eat station??? It's hard because I don't know the magazine or how it works. It might also be something similar like Stationery, which although it doesn't work with the letters given, is more related to the gift card. Perhaps this will help.
TheWinner I'm still here, just not always on the computer.
I'm looking forward to getting the answers, you have all put so much effort in to trying to solve them, thank-you.
