Thank You For Your Donations!

Dear AnswerBank Community,
Wow. £187.24 this month so far! Your generosity since my comments last night have been a promising start, and we are truly grateful.
In total, there are tens of thousands of users who rely on The AnswerBank every month. If even a small portion of these users gave a few pounds regularly, it would help us maintain and improve the platform.
As mentioned, how much we are making through Donations is transparent and they can be made anonymously as far as other users are concerned.
You can keep up to date with where we are with Donations in this thread: https:/ /www.th eanswer bank.co .uk/AB- Editors -Blog/Q uestion 1808295 .html
The thread also explains why we are seeking donations and if the current level of donations continues we will be able to release some more information about improvements we are planning to make, that to date have not been possible.
Once again, thank you for your support, and with your contributions, we can ensure The AnswerBank remains a valuable resource for everyone.

Faced with a thread which consisted almost entirely of tit for tat name calling and added little to any debate, it seemed the most sensible option. If mods had the full editorial toolkit then I could have closed the thread, bulk-deleted all the offending posts and then reopened the thread, but as it was I'd have had to delete all the offending posts one at a time which is a tedious job and then I'm fairly sure the parties involved would just have started the row again anyway. I think the thread might also sit better in another category, but that is an Editorial decision.
