Stealing Someone’s Atm Card Pin Number.

I found this youtube video from 8 years ago that shows how easy it is for someone to steal your ATM card pin number – which does not involve shoulder surfing.

Although someone getting hold of you bank card could use it on contactless systems, the stolen cards are much more useful to thieves if they know the card’s pin number.

Same way shoulder surfers do, they either nick it or the shop assistant has cloned it.

Would I be right in saying that if you cover the keypad with your other hand while putting in your number it wouldn't show the heat imaging?

Heat imaging won't work on metal keys and just resting your fingers on other keys whilst you key in your number will make it impossible to use this device on plastic and rubber keys.

Thieves will, especially if they have your ATM card & pin number.

With the increase use of contactless payments, phones, online banking and shopping there must be a significant reduction in the number of customers accessing ATMs to withdraw cash.

I probably use an ATM a couple of times a year. It used to be once a week or more.
