Muslim Prayer Room at Windsor Castle....
Just wondering what your views are on the latest news that an office within Windsor Castle is to be used as a prayer room for Muslim staff - bearing in mind there is currently only one Muslim employee working within the Castle gift shop.
Apparently, it will still be used as an office when not being used for Prayer.

I always wondered why this was & asked my teacher the reason. She explained that they were Roman Catholic & were forbidden 'by their parents' to join in with 'us'.
So you see the majority did what they did & the two with different faiths just quietly sat outside - no 'special concessions' were made for them & this was accepted.
This was the main reason for my question - it just reminded me of those times - but boy how times have changed!
Thank you for all your sensible answers.
