4. Children 1st Ettrick Resource Centre. 30 cryptic clues with the last letter of the answer being the first of the next answer. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st March 2023.
5. Asbestos Action quiz. World Capitals. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st March 2023.
6. New Soroptimist quiz. Trios. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st March 2023.
7. It's Elemental. In aid of 6th Chatteris Brownies. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st March 2023.

11. New Foraged Food Quiz. In aid of West Lancs Scouts. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st May 2023.
12. WB RLNI - Discoveries and Inventions. 30 general knowledge + 30 pictures. £2 entry fee. Closing date is 31st May 2023.

13. Buxton Mountain Rescue Quiz 18. 60 questions Cryptic/General Knowledge/Anagrams of place names in British Isles containing an animal. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st October 2023. Note from setter: Please, no asking for online help before 21st October.

Horse Sense. Raising money for Water Aid. Transforming lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation. Answers are people or fictional characters with a horse connection, or well known real or fictional horses. Quiz sheets are a suggested minimum donation of £1.00. Prize of £10 for the entry with the most correct answers. In the event of a tie spellings will be taken into account and all correct entries will be entered into a draw. Prize of £5 will be selected at random from all entries. The closing date for entries is June 30th 2023. ShelterBox Quiz "Alphabet Soup" quiz [SB 13]: 50 Cryptic/General Knowledge Questions: this time all the answers are names of people, using 2 initials for the first names. I have tried to be brief in my clues, which can refer to the surname or a character or name from something they have produced or been involved in, or just their job.
It's all online, from payment (PayPal) to entry (email back the completed answer sheet). All participants will be emailed answer sheet (at the end!).
Min donation £1.25 to [email protected] via PayPal (send as a friend and we get it all, otherwise we only get 91p). Then email [email protected] with 'SB 13 Paid' as this is the email I will send the quiz to you on.
Contact me if you don't have PayPal - we have a work around. Same address for any questions.

SPRING quiz in aid of the Romanian Aid Foundation. (www.roaf.org) Closing date – 10th June, 2023. Mixture of 60 questions – 30 questions containing the letters in the word SP RI NG, 30 questions on song titles and 30 questions with two word answers. The quiz costs £1 (cheques payable to C.Giffard). 1st prize £10, runner up £5 and prize of £5 drawn from all entries regardless of score. Quizzes available from Mrs C.
