To All Seasoned Coach Travellers
Where is the best place to sit on a coach? We recently did a coach trip that was about 3 hours in each direction. We sat at the back as it gave me more leg room. My wife is a short *** so she doesn't have the problem ;-) She however has neck and spine problems and she found it very uncomfortable. Is there a better place to sit that is a little less bouncy ? Admittedly it wasn't the newest coach and maybe super new coaches are better but suggestions would be interesting

Right at the front to the drivers left are good seats. Alternatively if there is an extra middle door with steps for exit, the seats there are unrestricted leg room wise. Of course I am speaking as I’ve found the coaches that I have traveled on.
Certainly on most National express coaches the second row on the nearside
( directly behind the single disabled persons seat has a little more leg room. However the first three normal rows behind the disabled seat are slightly lower so the view from the window isn't so good if you are shorter. I normally go for row five because it's one of the bookable seats ( only the first five rows can be booked in advance) I haven't noticed much difference in 'bounce or roll'.
