yes.
reasons to dislike all things apple, over priced expensive to repair
only there over priced cables seem to work, hope they go bust.
reminds me of something, guy buys a bargain deal ferrari, but it wont start when he gets it home, needs a ferrari dealer for a repair, turns out its a 50p fuse, £500...
fender, the new iPads use generic USB-C ports now - not their choice but it means any old USB-C cable will do.

I have bought cheap non-Apple lightning cables for my old iPad and they work perfectly well.
I use a cheapo cable to charge my iPad, cost something like a fiver for three.
Probably got the same ones as me :)
I've got an iPad Pro and a budget Samsung Tab A7 and I use them both.
Actually Barry mine are extremely expensive ones, I just checked. They cost £7.99 for three, a red, a blue and a grey one. And they’re all braided. So there! ;o)
Yes, same as mine, I think - 3m?
The reason for the change to USB-C is a European directive that ALL devices have the same charging port.

i stand corrected about the cables, but still think apple products over over priced.
