Google Translation is actually surprisingly good at coping with most western European languages, as is Bing:

But, in my opinion, the first multi-language translation site is still the best:

Just type into Google 'what is xyz in Spanish, or German , or French, etc' and various translation websites will appear with the answers. Which particular one is the best is up to the user. I've tried various sites and found them all to be OK for my needs.

Google translate is good for individual words but I don't trust longer sentences or sentences with complex tense so use google translate for the verbs/ nouns and then search up how to work the tenses on a search engine... no translator will be very accurate so you have to do a bit of the work yourself if you want it to sound accurate :p [sorry!] x

As this question (and answer) comes from a new member, Methyl, my spam alert is ringing loud and clear!

However, since the thread warns people against placing too much trust in any online translator, I'll leave it unzapped for now.
That has to be a first.

Asks a question and then posts the answer to himself.
