Bird feeders are even more important. I use the ones that are suitable only for smaller birds as otherwise the rooks would eat everything. Rarely fill up the peanut feeder as I found it attracts squirrels and then the birds don't get a look in.

on top of fat balls..blocks and coconut thingies !! they cost me a fortune !

Mine get fat balls, seeds and sometimes peanuts. Not much else as seagulls and rooks are so greedy and overpowering to the smaller birds. I do put out dried fruit for the blackbirds but I make sure they are around to have it before putting it down for them.

Morning Birdies. Pleasant enough morning here. Quite mild no wind or rain. Looks like we are in for a nice weekend, which is good, as we are away for a couple of days on Ynys Môn(Anglesey). Just a bit of running errands today and away handy tomorrow before every parking space on the island is taken. Not joking.

I know tyhat M&S store very well LadyJ. Always our last stop before arriving at digs for a few bottles. If they have any look out for a Chilean Carménèr Red that Marks have on offer. Verr Verr good.
