Crikey - The Guardian is being very critical of SKS.

Given The Guardian, of all papers, has piled-in, does this spell trouble for him.

Other than knowing SKS doesn't know what a woman is, I do not have the first clue what he stands for; I can't be the only one.

I don't think he has a clue what he stands for either. He just seems to blow with the wind, making what he thinks are the right noises - which so very often turn out to be wrong.

Sir Beer has an unenviable task with hiding his nutters behind a thin veil of the sensible. Yes Labour do have some sensible MPs but just behind them are the hard left, the 5C, the anti Semites and the terrorist supporters. As we know the public have not elected real Labour since 1973 so Rodders must present something that looks like Tory Lite, not easy. TBH though I'm not surprised by this Guardian piece, he's always been a bit too sensible for them.

Yep, he is very dull and the party appear unexciting.
Yet are 20 odd points a head in the polls.
They are relying on the Tories losing the election rather than Labour winning it.
But the Tories reached the bottom of the barrel with Truss, and Sunak is slowing dragging the party up from the dregs. He has a lot to undo, and may not have enough time to completely turn things around, but they are improving. Which is why Starmer must up his game. The question is, has he got it in him?

And sadly in recent years we have not had a real Tory Party, just a load of liberal elites.

Yes, Sunak is turning it around, and Suella is doing sterling work against the odds and Lefty Lawyers but then we have the likes of that idiot Shapps who cant get that we cannot go net zero by 2030 or whatever the latest daft target it. The Net zero and other liberal ideas bough in the the last Prime minister and her husband have to go if the Tory's are to win.

As for Sir Kier, I too feel a bit sorry for him. Rock and a hard place.

He just neeeds to stay bland... offer no detail just general aspirations (growth, fairer society, integrity/honesty...etc). The Torys have past there sellbydate and are no longer trusted even on the economy.
Sir Kier can wait until his PM before he has to worry about finding real detail and policy's

Voters will want to know what he is planning and more importantly how he will pay for things, if he doesnt then the Tories and other Party's will do it for him at election time. And that would be very damaging for labour.

I dont agree youngmafbog...people just want a change and will give SKS a go. but thats my opinion based on people I talk to and listening to publics views on radio/TV /twitter ect and following the polls.

Bobb, its not my thoughts its what these articles are about. Listening in your bubble with the core of labour voters isnt going to win labour votes, they already have them. All parties have to get to middle England, Sir Kier is targeting Stevenage woman (Even though he doesnt know what a woman is) because he does realise that Middle England giveth and Middle England taketh.

It would be nice to have the old Conservative and Labour parties and to be able to see the difference before voting. I don't want to vote for either nowadays. They all lie and let you down anyway.
