Question About Moving House- At What Point Can You Look For A House?

Call me naive but I have never been in a chain before when buying a house.

At what point can you start to put offers in for other houses? Can you do this before or while your house is for sale or do you have to wait until you have confirmation of a sale?

I can't help you with your answer.

I moved home yesterday and it really is quite stressful.

I was lucky enough to be able to buy my new flat with cash and I am just about to put my old flat on the market. I can't remember ever being this exhausted before.
