Good evening all.

I'm running a bit behind schedule tonight because I've been trying to multi-task but, of course, failing miserably at it!

A 'middling' start for me this week, with FOUR out of ten in the main quiz:

For the second time lately, Aunty Beeb has got her knickers in a twist with the junior quiz, meaning that she's re-published last week's quiz again instead of posting a new one. As a substitute for it, I'll offer you a simple(?) little quiz from BBC Bitesize (Which is primarily aimed at GCSE students) on the topic of 'time'. I only managed a score of THREE out of six with it:

A 'far from great' (but still 'passable', in my opinion) score of FOUR out of ten for me in the Timed Teaser this week:

Well done, Lie-in King. Decent scores, as always from you, of course! However Ken is well ahead of you this week, which is almost unheard of!

Not to bad at all, actually, I'd say, Caran. You've matched me in the sprint event and you're only one point behind me in each of the other two quizzes, which is quite a bit better than some others have done this week!

In my defence I haven't been near the tv much, as I have been busy with a sewing project

Good morning, late to the party again this week. I started off badly with 2/10, I didn't remember most of the stories and my guessing was up the creek without a paddle,but then I excelled myself with 5/6,and didn't do at all badly on the timed either with 6/10. I just about beat your aggregate, chico, first time for a while.

Well done on those impressive scores, Campbellking (especially the perfect 6!). My cats don't need to demand meals, as we operate a 'running buffet' system in this house ;-)

Hi, Rowanwitch. I hope that the sewing project is going well. (It's obviously not a new suit for me as, with the way that my waistline has been increasing lately, there's not probably enough material in the entire country to make one!). Passable scores throughout anyway though, with no disasters !
