Flimsy!

Fed up of flimsy packaging now, supposedly to save the environment. Not much saving when I can no longer drizzle olive oil because the bottle is so flimsy it pours out in a torrent, nor when the bag of sugar bursts open as I pick it up.
What's your latest annoyance?

Vacuum packed foods. I don't have the strength to pull off the cover and have to resort to scissors.you

Those plastic bottles of lemonade or water that are so thin they buckle when you try to break the seal.

Biscuit that are wrapped in cellophane type packaging. Once opened the paper just splits, spilling biscuits everywhere.

Milk cartons with a tab on the seal which sticks to the plastic top when unscrewed, meaning you have to peel the seal off, which fragments.

My SiL was cursing the flimsy carrier bag he had boughten at local Co-op. He was just crossing road with my grandson, when the rubbish bag burst upen, sending most of shopping sprawling in the road. Luckily, a couple of people helped him pick it up.

Childproof lids that are also Lottieproof! Also vacuum packed foods that are Lottieproof and Tilly Proof!

Things wrapped in flags often fail and disappoint.

Tiny tablets packet in bubbles in foil packs that I have to find with a microscope and eventually when I find them in the bubble, can't pick up or drop on the floor. Pin head sized!!

Corned beef tins where the "key" either breaks off or refuses to budge.

Tinned tomato lids. You get the lid halfway across and then the pull tag comes off and you have to delve in the tin with a fork to get the tomatoes out!

Replacement of glass bottles or jars for plastic. Grrrr

The worst is the new vacuum pack for Sainsburys mince, fighting with that made a right mess. Now go next door to Aldi to get it.
