I know that many people dislike cats and some are actually scared of them. I can fully understand these points of view. They are manipulative and demanding little bullies.
Dry amusing, thanks wolf63. I love cats. Their personalities are expressed with little effort on their part. “Everybody should want to be a cat, cause a cat is the one that knows where it’s at”...
I'm disappointed...Toby has yet to hang from a ceiling light :(
But...he will attack ankles and feet early am. Foil balls are a suitable distraction...for 3 minutes. Just long enough to open curtains.
Pasta, I had no idea how noisy a carrier bag or paper bag could be at silly o'clock. Merlin used to roll over in bed and fall off the sofa (where she slept) and land with a thud. She would get a fright and run around screaming, then she would realise what had happened and go back to her sofa. Stupid cat!
Mine haven't quite learned to say "meow" yet and they just squeak at me. It is very very cute.
Although watching one of your babies sitting 25 feet up a tree is not nice. Several times over the last week, I have had to come inside, but Millie, Marchioness of Mayhem has always got down safely. (Charlie, Countess of Chaos is a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to heights and she rarely goes above 10 feet or so). Millie likes pigeons.
Barmaid
It's hard when they are kittens as they look so fragile and sound pathetic. They get themselves into so much trouble.
There is a youtube video showing how Russians get cats down from trees. The fire brigade hoses them down with their high-pressure jets of water. Slightly cruel but effective!
We think they are about 9 months now. They are growing fast. No longer the tiny poppets who could sit in the palm of Mr BM's hand! Vet seems to think they are nearly fully grown - they are very small and dainty girls. They are just so adorable though. I am so pleased that they came here.
