Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

This is only the second EV that I have attempted - and I do not know what is required.

I have solved all the clues except
28d Harry cycled around room naked, I'm pleased to say (5) _ OODE
(but there are a lot of clashes in the crossword and the final "E" could be any of the following letters M,O,R,S,E,L
"Room naked" I presume is the OO

There is meant to be a quotation somewhere ( I presume to do with the clashing letters - but don't know this) and the endgame is to highlight the name of the person who said it

I have the person who said the quote, it is in two diagonal lines going NW - SE, but even then one of the cells involves a change of an S to an E (similar to the clashes)

Can somebody please exlain the significance of the clashes. Thankyou!

Last weeks by Chalicea was a doddle compared to this - but this was enjoyable if confusing!

28d Goodo ! The E can change to an O
Dog = harry - surrounding OO (Room naked)

but I still do not understand the clashes!

Thanks Klaz - it is only the second one that I have done - and there was no preamble forthe clashes!!....only for the end game

I have finished everything, I just don't like getting the solution to the end game by fluke rather than the way it was intended to be solved!

Just got it! The quote without giving it away is

_ _ _ _ is _ _ _ _

And from the position of the clashes it now makes sense!
