Hey you peepsies. So me my oh and a few friends is going Philippines for 2 weeks to relax on a quaint beach. However one of the friends has gang tattoos all over his face from South America. He is a genuinely nice person and very harmless but I was thinking is this likely to give us problems? I only thought to ask this because he said he wouldn’t be able to ever now go to South America and was wondering any other places? Thank you all hehe

Ukanonymous - has he tried heavy make-up foundation?? That would almost certainly cover it up for the days that he might be a bit worried about where he is going. Then he could just wash it off at the end of the day. Good luck!

The only way he will find out if he gets any problems is to go there - nobody can guess who people will react. They`ll probably just stare.

I was hoping someone would know about Philippine culture with regards to tattoes.
