Touch Sides

Is there a saying "touch sides"? What does it mean?

I believe possibly there is, if the broader context (clause) for it's use is: 'It didn't even ...' Then it may be an ambiguous reference to drinking or eating..
eg. This didn't get me drunk! Yet
I drank it fast, without the liquid having chance to "touch the sides".
Could be used when taking shots,
I'm not satisfied or i'm boasting in short!
