o2 mobile number?

my son has just bought a 2nd hand mbile with sim card but doesnt know his phone number,is there an o2 number he can ring to get his number?
he has no credit or he would ring me to get it!!

turn the phone off and when u switch it back on again it comes up 'my number 07 etc' at least mine does. Anyway, buy a genie sim card and get a new number and free texts /.

yeah miss read go get an o2 genie sim threehundrd free txts every month u top up wiyh ten quid id be lost without it being out of work.

The sim card has a long number on it. Get him to phone up O2 with the number and they can do a search on their system for the sim number. Don't get it confused with the IMEI - that's for handsets only.

Also, only do this if he's sure it's not a nicked phone. He'll get into trouble otherwise!!!

Hi, if your sure its a samsung 500 simply turn it on then slide it open. Next press the 'menu' button, then go up to 'phonebook'. Next press 'select' and scroll down to No6 called 'own number' and press select. There you will have your own number. Good luck!
