Today's 'Epic Value' bet isn't as cut and dried as some of the others in that it doesn't really involve a 'glamour' tie, or a top striker to have a shot on target. Instead, it's the bottom-half of the table clash between Crystal Palace and West Ham United, kick off 12.30.

Neither side are mathematically immune from being dragged into the relegation mire and no doubt both will be keen for the 3 points.

The last 4 meetings between these two London clubs have produced a total of 17 goals and, in each of those 4 matches, a goal has been scored in the first half.

Correct odds ought to be 2/5, but Willy Hill are going EVENS that a goal is cored in the first half of today's match - to a £10 max stake.

Thanks Ken. You've trained me well. Like GIZ I saw this earlier and lumped on the full tenner.

It more than makes up for my foolish £2 bets on some enhanced odds offers recently. I had better stick to your stealing money bets in future.
