In stock in Iceland too, the area where I live no problem finding salads/veg. The locals think meat and two veg is burgers with chips and mash, and rocket something only seen at firework displays . When there was a problem last year I was getting supplies for friends in the posher parts of town

I was in a huge Sainsburys yesterday and not one tomato. Not even a pack of the little ones.

I'd ordered 2 beef tomatoes from Tesco on Friday (they've been particularly tasty of late) & those being out of stock, I was sent 2 packs of 6 salad tomatoes instead. They are also yummy. I'd no idea there was a problem - I *must* start paying attention again.

I joked to my daughter that I could sell them in dark alleys...a fiver each. Darn...should've bought 2 packages...and I've already dipped into what I bought. Roasted with my red pepper frittata. Eating the profits!
