I know this question will cause a uproar amongst some of the AB subscribers. But first let me say that it is not meant to be at all offensive, or racist it is just meant to start a honest debate and to try and find answers. Having got rid of these necessary formalities here goes.
On the James Whale show on Talk Sport Radio last night, his topic was why in this day of increased gun crime, are the perpetrators mainly from the black communities? And why is it mainly young black males who carry guns? Is it a fashion item, or can the blame be put firmly on the shoulders Gangster Rap music? All other reasons where discussed ie under achievement, social depravation, role models, but no one came up with any firm answer.
I have thought about this and came up with a rather controversial theory of my own, but I have decided to take the cowards way out and not go there, due entirely to the fact that some subjects cannot be discussed freely and frankly.

curry goat (weirdly, it's spelled that way rather than 'curried goat') is a wonderful dish, and is generally made with lamb, rather than goat.
Secondly, I like to think of myself in the 10%, rather than the 50% which you have previously espoused...
...I see myself somewhere below the great Sir Trevor McDonald, but somewhere above the scary Darren Jordan (enough with the make-up man, you're a newscaster, not a member of Girls Aloud).

Ahh...this feels like the scene where Sherlock Holmes meets Professor Moriarty over that waterfall.
Viv Richards (to me) is not a God, because I have no interest in cricket whatsoever. Any sport that takes longer than three days to play and requires the spectators to sit on hard plastic benches, infrequently peeing into a beer cans is not for me.
The people I admire range from Samuel L Jackson, Neil Tennant, Meryl Streep and Morgan Freeman to Madonna, Stephen Fry, Linford Christie and Dame Helen Mirren.
My parents came to the UK very young (my mother was four).
I am certainly not an intellectual, but I'm vaguely intelligent (last book purchased = Alan Bennett's 'Untold Stories', last magazine read = Heat...y'see what I mean).
By the way, now that the thread has hit 83 posts, I doubt if anyone new will bother to join in.

I personally don't fit into any demographic (really, it's true).

Incidentally, it was very weird to be on the same side of an argument (even if it began accidentally) as Ward~Minter.
I feel confused and vaguely upset...like when you watch a Rene ellweger film....and enjoy it.
