1. Arrived by plane- not a right hander

2. A river in the beer ( thought this might be leather)

3. About about a gym( could it be crepe)

I have a thought for number 1 but am not convinced its right, so will not offer it just yet.

i cant get far with 1- arrived by plane might be flew in or landed ....but i cant see what not a right hander can be- southpaw?

I was thinking : not (R) for right hander,
might be (L) for left,
and possibly but iffy, via a plane: (L)ace.
that's why I didn't offer it, but can't come up with anything better.

Thanks for all your help. Still unsure of no 1.don’t get the connection of ace for something to go with a plane. I had thought of cameL but I don’t think that’s right.

I think that's a good answer, but thought camel was a colour rather than the name of a fabric. (p.s. An Ace is a pilot.)

I think I’ll go with my first thought of camel.( I once had a camel haired coat, so who knows! I like the connection to the sopwith camel biplane.where do you pick up all your knowledge? Brilliant
