Biden once again pokes his hooter in. Neither the UK nor the Irish need to be told what to do by a yank so but out Biden.
Time to stop being Americas lapdog I think.

Don’t throw a wobbly over stuff to do with a thankfully dead conflict.
Getting wound up over nonsense like this shows an inappropriate insecurity. I realise that the OP was mainly about the EU, but thanks to the current PM we are hopefully moving on from that too

the USA are bigger and more powerful than us and they dominate our economy and culture... dissociating from them is not possible or desirable...
biden has long identified as irish-american so his support for ireland is not surprising... to be honest i am glad that someone seems to take the good friday agreement seriously because the uk government has been quite reckless with NI over the last few years

I see. that ubiquitous word raises it ugly head again. In fact Biden is likely to do the total opposite of the Good Friday agreement he probably neither understands nor fully agree with given his hatred of the English.

many americans support the idea of a united ireland... despite the fact that it doesn't involve them of course lol
i have not checked but i would not be surprised if biden had supported it at some point... many British voters seem to have very little patience for NI either and would rather wash their hands of it... i don't endorse this view but it did come out during the brexit debates
