Bbc Quiz : Week 19
47 Answers
Greetings all, from the feline madhouse!
A reasonably good start for me this week, I feel, with FIVE out of seven in the main quiz:
https:/ /www.bb c.co.uk /news/w orld-65 549323
Only 'passable' for me, in my opinion, in the junior quiz though. TWO out of five:
https:/ /www.bb c.co.uk /newsro und/513 187
I managed to clear the half-mark hurdle, with SIX out of ten, in the Timed Teaser this week:

So that gives me an easy-to-beat(?) aggregate of 13 points.
Any takers?

I can't blame medication for being overweight - just food. Managed to lose 13lbs since February 13th so am on target fot the 2 stone by the time I see the surgeon again. Hopefully, I'll get my new hip soon after.

Hi, 10CS!
You're not the only one who regretted tracking down the junior quiz this week. Toorak did the same and also scored zero! (Let's think about that for a moment shall we? It's a KIDS' quiz. The clue's in the word, I think. Grown-ups are meant to find it EASY!)
;-)
[I can still speaker 'proper' Sheffield, 10CS, even though it's more than three decades since I left there. I sometimes struggle with putting it down on paper though!]
Oh dear, JJ109! Better luck next week!
Hiya, Ken! There's a working link to the kids' quiz at 2019 on the first page of this thread.
Very well done indeed on that PERFECT 7/7 though!
(I swear that the timer bar in the speed quiz moves faster every week!)
Hi again, Roo. 3/5 is actually looking like quite a good score on the junior quiz this week! (There have been a couple of zeroes!). I hope that the weight loss continues to go well and that, after a successful hip operation, you'll be dancing the can-can again very soon ;-)
