Is it true that steaming vegetables releases more nutritional goodness? How long should i steam the following to derive optimum nutrient content:

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Those I would stir fry - courgette, carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, mange tout, beans, brussels, cabbage etc I would steam between 2 & 4 mins depending on the veg and how you like them. Brussels and carrots would take longer than broccoli or cabbage and so on. You would have to experiment to see how you like them.
