Fuchsia
5 Answers
Follow on from yesterday's post about plants. My large fuchsia looked totally dead back at the end of March so I cut it down to ground level. Spent some time in the garden yesterday and was going to dig out the fuchsia root and bless my soul. it is regrowing from the base. Will take a while to get back to its original size but I'm just happy its growing.

One now has leaves up to about three feet high but everything higher or wider than that is plainly dead and I've spent the afternoon hacking it back The other is much younger but has only a handful of leaves round the base; I'm wondering it's worth keeping at all. Both were ablaze this time lat year, so given their different ages I don't know what's ailing them.
Unforeseeable fuchsias, as they say.
