I think some of us are in for some beautiful weather today, and about time too! I think FIL might be coming over the help finish laying the patio, depending on when he is having his radiotherapy.
Nothing else planned particularly for us ahead of the BH weekend next week. We're off to Riga week after next so don't want to be doing too much this close to our break.
I rather think the supermarket shelves will be raided in readiness for the BBQ weather - OH is taking FIL out tonight to see some Comedian I've never heard of so I'll have a quiet, relaxing one at home.
Whatever you're doing this fine and beautiful Saturday, have an excellent one! :-)
In Dec, I'm taking daughter to NY for a belated 21st birthday present, she'll be 23. Other than that, nothing. I'm going to be skint for another year as she's decided to do a Masters degree after she leaves Durham Uni. And, we're refurbing the upstairs which has turned out to be eye wateringly expensive.
Happy days.
I hear you're off to Riga. I hope you have a fab time.
That's the problem we had, Rocky, but I am so pleased we did it when we did, given the soaring price of building materials. There's no way we could afford to do the house up to the standard that it is now if we were just starting out post-pandemic.
We got caught out with plaster and had to pay an unscrupulous so and so £35 a bag for it during the pandemic.
We're having the upstairs refurbed. It's a chalet bungalow so just the one bedroom up there, with a walk in wardrobe and bathroom. I'm finding it all a bit exhausting to be honest. Working full time and interior designing does not gel well.
