A bit if one of my molars fell off, dentist appointment tomorrow for a dressing..whatever that means. No pain, just a sharp bit my tongue keeps finding.
As we’re going away for two weeks, on Saturday, I shall be glad to be seen by the dentist in case the rest of the tooth falls to bits, seems to be the way my teeth are at the mo.
Also, took dog for a different walk which he thoroughly enjoyed, having been with dog minder while we were in France, even though she’s lovely and spoils him rotten.
Have made a nice evening meal..ham shanks in some sort of sauce, roast sweet potatoes and cauli. And cleaned a bit..I HATE cleaning!
And we’ve decided to replace all the internal doors, sort out the porch, tart up the kitchen, and generally spend the kid’s inheritance:)

SFA.
Sleep mostly, I'm recovering from an operation.
Sympathy re dentist, I was there on Monday!

I dug over a piece of ground in the garden that had been taken over by nettles. Hard digging but really rewarding. Now I can plant it up over the weekend.

Cooking Spag Bol now.

Oh well, lankeela, at least you did something…
Oh heck, Pooka, what was it for and how are you?
I really like digging, maydup, it’s mindless and really shows for it, not that I do much these days to be honest.
A dressing is a temp filling. The dentist will explain why he isnt filling it. Do NOT chew on it - and make sure you know where it is and check a few times a day - if it falls out ( mine did) you MUST get it replaced on holiday

do NOT allow the tooth to become infected. Bad Karma lies on that path.

if he says, I will fill it if you pay - then pay
It was emergency surgery Vagus 3 weeks ago. Apparently I was at death's door! Still very tired, weak and wobbly but I'll get there in time.

Pooka, I’m so very sorry to hear that, and hope you have someone to take care of you while you recover. How frightening for you, three weeks ago too, gosh, I send you my most sincere good wishes for your recovery x
Thank you Vagus. My carer is my Dad but he's 99 so we are sort of caring for each other :-)
I was involved in a car accident many years ago and clenched my teeth meaning that now two of them have pieces that have fallen off them. I think dressing means a sort of tooth coloured filling built up round what is left which is what I have. This does fall off after a few months nut is the best solution for me at the moment. My dentist is loathe to take the teeth out as he says they will probably break up.

Yep, it’s a temporary filling, which I’ve just had done. Unfortunately the tooth is over 50% filling now so I’ve started the process for a crown when we’re back, made the two appointments needed. Just have to find the money..
Been thinking of you Pooka, good job you and your dad have each other x
