Good morning Minty and all , had a wonderful day in your home city, we walked the length of Princess street ( not easy when my son in laws Mam uses a stroller frame) the weather was gloriously warm, went up into Rose street and had a bar meal, mine was rather disappointing, I like fish to be well don, it wasn’t , walked further along to a Cocktail garden which is across from the rear entrance to M&S ? A proper sun trap, where each had a cocktail before my friend Claire came , she works at Waverley in the ticket office , got the train back at 6-30, son in law picked us up, I was in bed by 10 and slept through till 7 , happy days

Good morning all. A late morning from me, despite being woken by the bed raider and finally giving up and getting up at 02:30am. Good job I went to bed really early last night.

I break up from work today - yippee !! :-)

the Wetherspoons in Lothian Road..west end of Princes Street , old cinema is really very good for lunch Bobbi..lovely inside too..one of the best ! right behind St Cuthbers Church..nex to the big hotel The Caledonian !

Only problem was the stairs for Maureen , Minty , she wasn’t able to get up them as there was two steep flights to conquer,

Good morning all. looks like it is going to be another hot and sunny day here. So will hunt for somewhere shaded and hopefully cool. Never sit in the sun if I can help it.
Went out yesterday and the roads are very busy with visitors already.
