Hi
Just taken possession of a Peugeot 2008 which, unfortunately, only comes with a "repair kit" but no spare wheel or jack. I have been looking on line but nobody seems to have a wheel and tyre in the correct size : 18" with 4 stud holes. If anybody has any idea where I might get one I would be very grateful. Many thanks

You have contracted Peugeot ? They must have replacement wheels.
But I have to say you must be better of buying a different brand. My woman has had 2, 208s. The first I concluded was a huge pile of guano. Then she foolishly traded it in for a more modern 'space age' version and I suddenly realised I hadn't known what a huge pile of guano was in car design until I had to drive her present steaming pile.
Alternatively, simply post your requirements onto BreakerYard and/or PartsGateway to be notified by dealers who can supply what you want.
(I've used BreakerYard many times, and PartsGateway occasionally, with excellent results. Don't use 247Spares though, as they charge you for lots of text messages).
If you look at this website you can see what other cars share the same wheel configuration as your Peugeot; the PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter), the distance of the bolt-holes from the centre, is just as important as the wheel size. There seems to be a good selection of wheels from other manufacturers which will fit.
Thankd for the info Hoppy. Never realised. Yet another reason not to join the insane rush to abandon good traditional cars. World has definitely gone mad.
Thanks for all the answers folks, I did post yesterday but I must have forgotten to press enter !! (It's an age thing !!) Anyway, thanks again to all and just for info OG, this my 4th Peugeot and I've always been more than satisfied with them.
