I am unsure if that is a fact - opinion polls are consistently an unreliable barometer of the national mood.
Coupled with that, the idea that either the UK would actually wish to rejoin the EU, or that EU would actually welcome us back, are both open to sustained reason debate, but you will have to look elsewhere than on this site to find anything like that.

so is your God going to payback the £1.5mln donation and the 30k to his office and the 10k to the gorgeous pouting Angela that Labour have received from the chief sponsor/chairman, Dale Vince, of Stop Oil. No wonder Sir Beer Warmer and the minions tried to block the tougher measures on aggressive demontrations - Hypocrites, the Labour Party are - pure and simple.
If it was still just a common market fine.( Like the one we originally signed up for).. But any attempt at re -entry would almost certainly be at a horrendous cost... In terms of what we would be expected to surrender, as we would be just one cog in a monster machine that our European controllers would feel able to drive blithely over any remaining shreds of self determination and financially a cash cow to be milked to provide subsidies for the countries that are unable to contribute due to their economic weakness. We need to get on with the slow process of rebuilding, if we can do it on friendlier terms with our neighbours great.

As I've said on many occasions, I didn't vote in the referendum because I didn't think it would make the slightest difference to us ordinary folk, whether we were in or out. I still think that. Most of the people I know who voted leave, said they did so because they were sick of foreigners coming to this country and wanted the govt to get control of its' own borders. Has that happened?
