Hotter Shoes Made In China.
30 Answers
Hi - I took advantage of 40% off a pair of ladies sandals from Hotter. They arrived today & they are so cheap looking, they were made in China, there is no mention on them of the Hotter name (apart from a removable insert). They were ordered from the Hotter website & arrived in a Hotter shoe box. I will NEVER buy Hotter shoes again if this is the standard they are now selling.

Anyway, their sandals were quite expensive at the time. I was working in Albania and a neighbour sat outside every day hand stitching uppers on to part of the sole of these shoes. She was paid the princely sum of 10p per shoe - this is back in 2002 but even then it was pure exploitation. I never bought anything from them again.
I was passing a Hotter shop today and saw those sandals. Most of their footwear has 'Hotter' and Made in England embossed on the sole but some has a blank sold and Made in China inside. Eliah was a made in China as is Catskill (as an example) It says something for their customer service that they came back to you quickly though.
