Definitions seem to be continually under pressure to change, presumably by the woke who seem to have worked their way into positions of influence eerywhere. Just note Maggie's quote from someone deliberately ill defining that very term. And it seem the producers of most modern dictionaries need to get rid of staff who can't do their job properly, and use older dictionary versions to remind whatever replacement staff they hire, of what the true definitions really are.
