Has anybody else had emails saying that their iCloud storage is full and all their photos will be deleted tomorrow unless you take up an offer of extended storage? Clicking to accept that option produces a request for personal details.

Sorry didn’t mean to put this in food and drink.

Thank you Barry. I was hoping that was it. Very grateful for your confirmation.
Of course you should log in to your iCloud storage to see just how full it is :)
Question Author
Yes, I did that Barry. Apparently 13.7 Gb of my monthly allowance of 200 used and I’ve also done a panic-mode backup of photos. Belt and braces! Very reassuring to get your reply, so thanks.
Out of interest, was the email to your icloud email address or another?
Question Author
I only have one email address.
Scam, most assuredly. I went onto iCloud site via apple. Update from five gig space to fifty gig. 79 pence a month. Good for backup.

Thanks all.
I had the same today through my most used E-Mail. 50 G, for free top up. Once it sent me to another page asking for personal details A red flag went up and deleted it.

Thanks for sharing this, I wasn’t just being paranoid.
Question Author
I reckon paranoia was justified. Thanks all for your support.
