Water overflow pipe dripping

My overflow pipe has been dripping for a few days but I think it only drips when the washing machine is used. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance.

Check your ballcock in your loft when the washing machine is operating

I live in a flat with electric heating so not sure what I should be checking :(

Check the Ball-valve in the the header tank, above your hot Water cylinder , in your airing cupboard.
