Steve Wright has just said on his show that there are 55 miles of canals within one human tooth, is this correct or did we mishear him, handbags at 10 paces yet again as I say this seems impossible and the knitting corner say thats what he said so it must be right.

Thanks,

Thanks Octavius, will have to concede this one to the 'corner'. although Newry Canal is fairly long and filled with lots of water and shopping trolleys and would never fit in one of my teeth no matter how gobby I am! Think I had better give up as am not gonna win this one.

Many thanks

ps dont believe all you heare as factiods! the other day they said only one country in the world started with the letter w and that was western samoa. What about Wales!!!!!
Wales is a Principality , don't know if it even counts as a country...poor Wales.
Factoids is notoriously suspect. Once he said that "it is illegal not to be eating a toblerone when flying in an aeroplane over Switzerland"!
Great show though.
I had a root canal filling and I saw the Xray about 1inch in total, they will tell you anything on the radio!!

55 Miles indeed lol
And how many barges on that canal?
Question Author
Ethel - no barges but think there may also be a couple of cars in there as well.

Thanks for all your replies guys.
