I'm talking about the song which you love, but you know has no, or very little merit.

It's the CD that you hide behind the sofa when your mates come round...or the one that brings you out in a cold sweat when your partner is spooling through playlists on your iPod.

I'll hold my hand up to 'Uptown Girl' by Billy Joel...can anyone top that?

Oh yes I can top that...............lol

Tragedy- not even the BeeJees one, but Steps!
The Dooleys- Wanted
Little Mermaid Soundtrack- Kiss The girl

The list does go on.........but too ashamed now :-(
The Corrs and Michael Jackson.
I could never admit it to anyone I know.

Oh and, inexplicably, I absolutely adore Star Trekkin by The Firm.
"Tsjeriau" by Ravi and DJ Lov - Rap performed in Norwegian.
Well, there you go.
Captain Beaky by Keith Michel
NOOOO! spudqueen, not on your i pod ? Nooo, surely not ! LOL !
My teenage daughter's playlist consists mostly of bands i've never heard of but deep in the bowels of her I Pod is the theme music to Deal or No Deal!

B00 - oddly, mine was going to be Tragedy by Steps, but I was too ashamed to admit it.

Gawd bless yer for saying it.

Alibobs - God help you if your daughter ever sees your post.

I've just remembered the other one that fills me with shame.

I own a copy of The Cheeky Song.

I think we should end this now as I feel dirty and ashamed.
"boom boom boom boom!" - the vengaboys
"music" - madonna
I don't know about songs, but the one artist that sticks out in my CD collection is Natalie Imbruglia. When people see the albums I often get funny looks.
My Coo-Ca-Choo by Alvin Stardust. I am ashamed to say I never get tired of it. Sad or what?
Just remembered...I've got Babylon Zoo - Spaceman on single...ground, swallow me now!
i have both the rolf harris albums and I am proud of it never listen to them though - but song I love that is cheesy is that ketchup song a couple of years back
This is the worst I've found in my ipod so far:

Cher- Believe
Take That -(only 2 songs!)
ahem, Savage Garden........

ok, that's enough humiliation for tonight.
Just to add further- I took my ipod on holiday with me, camping with two other couples and bought speakers so we could have music during the evening- I was legging it to said ipod every 15 minutes desperately trying to fast forward to the next record before my shame was made public :-(
Ive got the Young Ones with Cliff Richard on mine and Chas and Dave - no shame at all me!
Everything I like is good, otherwise I wouldn't like it. I don't hold with this "guilty pleasures" nonsense. If I like it, I like it and that's it. There's nothing wrong with most of the songs mentioned. Uptown Girl, The Young Ones, Music and My Coocachoo are good catchy pop songs - why put them into this 'embarrassing admissions' pigeonhole?

Yes yes yes I know, I look like I'm being all overly serious and curmudgeonly and you're just having a bit of fun and all that and stuff etc. It's just that I get irritated by the reasons why we have this guilty pleasures concept, ie there's stuff you should feel sheepish about liking. Says who? Just go ahead and like it and who cares!

I bet sp1814's really irritated with me now. Sorry.
