Does anyone remember a panel game similar to Have I got news for you in the late 60's/early 70's with Willie as one captain and Richard Ingrams as the other?

Do you mean radio or TV? IMDB has no record of such a TV programme. They were both writers on "That Was the Week That Was" though. Willie Rushton was certainly a panellist on radio 4's "I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue" (which is still going, i believe). This started in 1972. After a brief search I can't find any record of Ingrams being involved but it wouldn't surprise me if he was at some point.

No, sorry rja, it was a T.V. programme. I couldn't find it in IMDB either or Google. This was something of a last gasp effort. I remember it distinctly though, it was in the era of Wilson and Heath, probably nearer mid sixties then!
