Special Delivery

Had an Amazon parcel delivered today when we were out. Card through door read "Dropped over gate". Sure enough the parcel had been dropped over a six foot gate onto a concrete path.Luckily the parcel contained Crocs and not crocks.

Sone of these delivery guys seem to have no brain. At least it wasn't slung on the roof. (I understand that pay & time means they are in a tight spot if the recipient isn't there to take it.)

My brother in law posted on their back gate "please do not throw anything over the gate, fairies living on the other side" . It was around the time their granddaughter was fairy mad.

To prevent this happening, it's worth giving them further delivery instructions if you are not going to be there. It always works for me.

Get Amazon parcels delivered to one of their lockers next time.

We usually leave a notice on the door when expecting a delivery but this one was scheduled for next Wednesday.

I had a parcel thrown over back gate. It contained a sewing machine. “BROKEN”
I had it replaced and properly delivered.
