I remember hearing / reading somewhere that you can make your own facial scrub using sugar and moisturiser.
Does anyone have a recipe for something like this? A cheap alternative to Clarins, etc!

when i have been servicing or repairing a car or van and my hands get oily, i get some fairy liquid and throw some sugar in it.............. it makes a great hand cleaner!!!

Yummy Sugar Scrub
Combine 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup olive oil and 2 tsp vanilla extract. In the shower, swirl the mixture across your body. The sugar granules exfoliate, the oils soften and the sugar and vanilla makes you smell and taste yummy.

My grandad(!) taught me to mix olive oil and salt for a fantastic hand scrub that leaves hands baby soft, but not sure if this may be too abraisive to face

Oatmeal is good for facial scrub. Not sure what you mix it with though

but i must admit i wouldnt fancy cleaning my face with fairy liquid and sugar.....crikey it would hurt!!!

Well Agent, no pain no gain, will strip off all the dead skin and probably better than a chemical peel as well!!
