Unless things have changed, RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire, is the only forward operating location for B52 bombers in Europe. 8 were deployed there fairly recently.

A perhaps little known fact, (I lived for many years near Fairford) is that it is a favoured place for large aircraft because it has a direct underground fuel pipe connection to Bristol docks, about 40 miles distance away, thus alleviating the need for a large amount tanker deliveries.

Possibly another little known fact, RAF Fairford was the only designated abort landing in Europe for the space shuttle, due to the length of its runway, 3045 meters. The B52's also require a lengthy runway.
