hey guys as you no if been suffering with a cold this week, and now its got a lot better still got the sniffles but iv got lots of dry skin around my nose where iv been wiping it alot, now im going out tonight, and im wearing foundation, and iv put my day foundation on this morning, (with a lot of moisturiser around the nose area) and its all flaking of, and doesnt look very sexy, any tips on how to cover it tonight when i put my "best" foundation on. tia xx
Hi babe, I get dry skin around my nose so I put a light layer of E45 on it before I apply my make up. It's brill.
In future, honey, when you have a cold, leave open a box of baby wipes to dry out and use them as a substitute for tissues. They're not so rough on your skin xxx :o)
not just round my nose 4getmenot, i wear it all over my face, but i mean at the mo iv only got a tinted moisturiser on my face and it looks really flaky NOW so its bound to look flaky when i put my foundation on later!!
Yer thats what I meant. I mean do you really need to put foundation on the whole of your face. I never do, i just put a bit of cover up stick under my eyes to cover dark circles. If you didnt then you wouldnt get flaky bits, will also let your face breath
Put a tonne of vaseline around your nose before u go to sleep or E45 as mentioned above is good.
I use Vaseline for all dry skin problems, if i have chapped lips - which are a fave with me in the winter i just load up with a thick layer of vaseline on my lips beforei hit the sack!
I also use it for dry skin (when th esun tan starts fading...:o()
This is an emergency stylinsam , so add a teaspoon of sugar to your soap or facial wash. This will act as an exfoliator.
Then treat yourself to a tube of Clinique Gentle Exfoliator...rinse off formula - as a standby or a once-a-week beaty treatment. It lasts for a couple of years so is well worth every penny.
no use for you now sam, but in future when you got sniffles use hapinose-its brill stops nose getting all sore and flaky. It's way better than vaseline and eucalyptus too!
