Morning, all.
I'm envious of people who have rain.
None here for about 2 months and grass like straw.
Haven't cut it for over a month and it still doesn't need it!
Few clouds today but I bet we won't get rain. Seems strange to be wishing for rain here we usually have too much.

Good morning Gill. Yes we do need rain at the moment. The only problem with rain in Cornwall is that once it starts it doesn't know when to stop I think.

Cornwall, Minty. As LJ says it doesn't know when to stop normally but we've had a hosepipe ban since last year which will not be lifted until at least December.
Lawn not the only thing suffering. Lots of plants very brown and think I've lost a few.
LJ, DTC and I are all in Cornwall and not too far apart but can have different weather.
Your garden always looks lovely but I cannot cope with lots of pots. Am unable to go round with watering can much. Will be out there pruning a bit soon before it gets too hot.
