i am really worried that I will not be able to get back onto my msn. I recently changed the password and I can't remember the answer to my secret question. I did not set up an alternative e-mail address either. Is there any way I can get on it or have I lost all my contacts? :o(

Is there no way you can contact any of your contacts? Or try contacting MSN directly (through a friend's email or something)

Yeah i've conacted msn but it's all about security, so they are being funny incase it isn't really my account etc. Well I know that for future reference thanks!

I once had my account 'hijacked' by someone that got their hands on my password.. After a polite email to Hotmail Admin they asked me to confirm some of the recent activity on my account, e.g. Emails sent and received, any contacts in the address book and any information I could give that was included at sign-up. Once they were happy I had my account back online (they also kindly restored all the emails that said hijacker had deleted!). Whole thing took less than 4 days. Just be nice and they usually accomodate.
