How often do you visit the hairdresser and how much do you pay for a cut and blow dry?
My wife's usual hairdressers is out of action for a few months and my wife is shocked at the prices in the nearest alternative. £60 for a trim (not restyle my wife insists I mention) and blow dry

Our village hair salon has always been reasonable.
Like a lot of other places, the prices has crept up but still cheaper than a lot of towns.
I went a week ago for blonde coloured foils & an inch cut off, washed, blow-dryed, £90 & a £2 tip. It was about £75 a year ago.

I find male hairdresser does the best cut and has the best chat!

Our hairdresser comes to the house every 5weeks and charges £25 to cut and blow dry my hair and gives my OH a buzz cut. I haven't been to a saloon for at least 40 years!

It is ridiculous now, so I have found a mobile hairdresser who comes to me and does a brilliant job for a fraction of the price. It’s the overheads that you’re paying for.

£25 for a wash, cut and blow dry with the owner of the salon in a seaside town.

25 miles away in larger city it would cost 50% more.

I go when I can be bothered. its not my favourite thing to do, so probably works out about once every 3-4 months and I cut my own fringe between appointments.
