.......and I was one of the first babies, although it was a couple of weeks after. My place in the NHS timeline is roughly 30,000. And that was only 2 weeks into the NHS. 15,000 a week for the first 2 weeks! Sheesh! They were all at it weren't they?! :o)

A friend of mine was born at 11.15 pm on July 4th 1948. His mum said she was hoping he would have been NHS baby No1. Instead, he aint an NHS baby!
